DEVELOPMENT

TEMAI specializes in the design and development of rugged electronic and electromechanical equipment for the aerospace industry. Our expertise covers the entire life cycle of the product, from initial specification and requirements definition to the final design and testing phases.

  • Mechanic Engineering:
    – Mechanical Design: Design and development of mechanical systems, components, and integration in aerospace applications.
  • Electric Engineering:
    – Electrical Design: Electrical design and integration of rugged equipment, ensuring compliance with environmental standards (DO-160, MIL-810)
  • Electronic Engineering
    – Circuit Design and simulation: Design and simulation of the electronic circuits, including PBC routing.
    – Microprocessors, CPLDs & FPGAs: Programming and integration of microprocessors, CPLDs and FPGAs with DO-254 standards for civil aviation and military applications.
  • Software Engineering
    – Flight-Critical Software: Design, development, and testing of flight-critical software, ensuring compliance with DO-178 standards for civil aviation and military applications.
  • Safety Engineering
    – Safety Justification: Development of safety, maintenance, reliability, and testability analyses, including calculations of MTBF, FMEA, FMES, CMA and FTA with ARP-4761 standards.
    – Safety Compliance: Justification and certification to ensure systems meet required safety standards.
  • System Engineering
    In compliance with ARP-4754A.

TESTING ENGINEERING

TEMAI performs the engineering of Test Benches, Ground Support Equipment for Aircrafts and Test validation, qualification and production, based on the quality standards UNE-EN 9100 and ISO 9001, from specification and design phase (mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical power, electronic control, measurement instrumentation and software) to the phase of integration and documentation.

TEMAI carries out projects related to software and systems of measurement on the test bench environment in industrial and laboratory applications.

The main programming languages used in the development of these applications are LabView, CVI and TestStand. Measuring systems are products from National Instruments and partner Pickering and control elements are PLCs and / or control systems based on real-time operating systems. The mechanical design is done with CATIA and the electrical design with Autocad Electrical. The hydraulic components, pneumatic and electrical cabinets and power are based on standard commercial items.

Among references include the production test bench VIGV actuator and aircraft engine nozzle EFA2000 of CESA, hydraulic and electrical test benches of the vertical stabilizer production (VTP) of Airbus 350, Aciturri, the hydraulic test benches for ITP engines, test bench for validation and production of gearboxes John Deere, among others.

MANUFACTURING ENGINEERING

TEMAI provides serial manufacturing for the developed product.

  • Manufacturing of Equipment: Production of rugged electronic and electromechanical equipment for aerospace.
  • Product Certification: Ensuring that the manufactured equipment meets required aerospace standards and qualifications, including certification for flight-critical software and electronic systems.

MRO

Our MRO capabilities include maintenance, repair, overhaul, retrofitting, modifications, upgrades, and enhancements of electromechanical and electronic equipment.

SYSTEM ENGINEERING SERVICES

TEMAI is committed to customer service with greater value. Therefore, if required, we establish dedicated engineering teams both onsite and offsite, locating part of our staff at customer sites in order to reduce time to market and improve development effectiveness in coordination with the engineering teams of TEMAI.

TEMAI is part of engineering services for Airbus and Airbus Defense and Space. We are qualified by Airbus as Tier1.

These services include engineering design and simulation equipment products, engineering qualification testing, engineering flight test, engineering and product support. Our references include engineering services for System Labs, Flight Test, Air to Refuelling and Customer Services departments for Airbus Defence and Space.

TEMAI offers comprehensive strain gauge installation services for safety-critical applications, including gauge placement, temperature curing, protective coating, and verification of isolation/offset measurements and load testing services.
